Sidrap, Indonesia: Seorang lelaki warga emas yang mendakwa memiliki sebutir berlian gergasi merancang menjual permata berkenaan dengan harga Rp7 trilion (RM2.07 bilion).
Lelaki yang dikenali sebagai Qarsing dari Desa Bulu Cendrana di Pitu Riawa itu juga mahu mendermakan keseluruhan wang berkenaan.
“Jika berlian saya seberat 222 gram ini berjaya dijual, sebahagian wangnya akan saya sumbangkan untuk membayar hutang negara.
“Sebahagian lagi saya akan buat sekolah, sekolah agama dan rumah adat di Sidrap dan Enrekang yang terkenal dengan nama Kota Santri,” katanya.
Menurutnya, jika ada warga asing mahu membeli berlian berkenaan kerajaan berhak menjadi orang tengah dan mengambil permata itu di rumahnya.
