Kuala Lumpur: Pelakon, Rita Rudaini dimasukkan ke wad di sebuah pusat perubatan di sini, sejak Sabtu lalu akibat demam denggi.
Rita, 41, ketika dihubungi berkata, pada mulanya dia mengalami sengal-sengal badan dan kesejukan sebelum bergegas ke hospital pada Jumaat malam lalu.
"Sejurus tiba di hospital, doktor meminta saya membuat pemeriksaan darah kerana bimbang saya terkena denggi. Hasil pemeriksaan darah saya positif dan terus dimasukkan ke wad," katanya.
Menurut Rita, sejak berada di wad badannya terlalu lemah dan bacaan darahnya juga rendah.
"Setiap hari doktor membuat pemantauan bagi memastikan keadaan saya stabil. Doktor juga perlu memasukkan air ke dalam badan kerana tubuh saya terlalu lemah.
"Akibat daripada kesan suntikan membuatkan saya kurang selesa dan berasa sakit. Semalam saya langsung tidak boleh tidur," katanya.
Rita berkata, keadaan kesihatannya itu tidak menjejaskan sebarang aktiviti seninya kerana dia tidak terbabit dalam mana-mana penggambaran drama ketika ini.
Berikutan keadaan kesihatannya itu, Rita juga terpaksa menunda perasmian pembukaan restoran miliknya yang sepatutnya diadakan Ahad ini.
Dalam pada itu, kedua-dua anaknnya kini dijaga ibu dan sepupunya dan setiap hari mereka akan datang melawatnya di hospital.
Rita berkata, doktor juga belum memaklumkan berapa lama lagi dia perlu ditahan di hospital.
