MARANG - Seorang anggota polis terpaksa berdepan dengan detik cemas apabila seorang lelaki yang dikenali sebagai 'Tok Yie' tiba-tiba naik angin di balai polis Bukit Payong di sini.

Dalam kejadian yang berlaku kira-kira 4.40 pagi itu, lelaki yang berusia 29 tahun itu datang bersama rakannya terlebih dahulu sebelum meminta izin untuk tidur di balai polis terbabit dengan alasan merasa dirinya terancam.

Bagaimanapun, lelaki terbabit tiba-tiba naik angin dan memaki hamun anggota bertugas dengan mengeluarkan kata-kata kesat sambil merakam video menggunakan telefon bimbitnya.

Keadaan turut menjadi tegang apabila suspek mengugut untuk melemparkan kerusi ke arah anggota polis tersebut.

Lelaki terbabit yang tidak mengendahkan pujukan itu kemudian mengarahkan anggota tersebut untuk menghubungi ketua balai kerana dia mahu berjumpa sebelum berubah fikiran sebelum beredar dari balai tersebut.

Pada pukul 7.20 pagi, suspek datang semula ke balai itu membawa empat rakannya dan lebih mengejutkan mereka dikatakan membawa parang.

Sehubungan itu, sekumpulan anggota dan pegawai polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Marang bertindak menahan kelima-lima suspek dan merampas sebilah parang.

Ketua Polis Marang, Deputi Superintendan Mohd Suhaimi Ali berkata kelima-lima suspek yang berumur 22 hingga 41 tahun itu kini ditahan.

“Kes tersebut kini disiasat mengikut Seksyen 6(1) Akta Bahan-Bahan Kakisan dan Letupan dan Senjata Berbahaya 1958, Seksyen 14 Akta Kesalahan-Kesalahan Kecil 1955 (Akta 336) dan Seksyen 506 Kanun Keseksaan,” katanya sebagaimana lapor Sinar Online.
