#Ketua Polis Kelantan, Datuk Mazlan Lazim, ketika memaklumkan perkara itu berkata, suspek berusia 25 dan 39 tahun itu ditahan di sebuah restoran di Jalan Bayam, di sini, kira-kira pukul 9 malam Ahad.
#Kedua-dua suspek yang juga bapa kandung serta ibu tiri mangsa itu akan direman pagi Isnin.
#Terdahulu, polis Kelantan giat mengesan sepasang suami isteri itu bagi membantu siasatan kes penderaan seorang kanak-kanak berusia lima tahun di Pasir Mas pada 25 Jun lepas.
#Pasangan muda itu dipercayai melarikan diri ke Thailand susulan kejadian tersebut dan bersembunyi di sana.
#Mazlan berkata, pihak polis juga turut bekerjasama dengan pihak berkuasa Thailand bagi menangkap pasangan berkenaan secepat mungkin.
#“Kecederaan mangsa serius dan kita jalankan siasatan di bawah Seksyen 31 Akta Kanak-Kanak dan kita akan jalankan tangkapan kepada penjaga dia iaitu bapa dan ibu tirinya," katanya.
#Menurut Mazlan, kecederaan kanak-kanak berkenaan yang dikenali sebagai Nur Zuliana Zaara Mohd Mishabuddin, 5, yang beralamat di Taman Rantau Mas, Rantau Panjang, amat serius dengan kesan kecederaan lama dan baru.
#Selain itu, katanya berat badan mangsa juga susut dipercayai tidak diberi makan selain kesan parut hampir di keseluruhan badan.
#Pada 25 Jun lalu, seorang ibu telah membuat laporan polis mengatakan anaknya yang dijaga oleh ibu tiri serta bekas suaminya mengalami kesan kecederaan lama dan baru, kesan parut, badan kurus dan berada dalam keadaan lemah.
