BAYI PEREMPUAN SEBERAT 1.8 KILOGRAM YANG DILAHIRKAN MENGHIDAP PENYAKIT ANEH, MENINGGAL DUNIA DI NAGPUR, INDIA 13 JUN LALU.
Bayi berkenaan dilahirkan pada Sabtu lalu di Hospital dan Kolej Perubatan Lata Mangeshkar.
Penyakit aneh yang dikenali sebagai Harlequin Ichthyosis,membuatkankulit penghidapnya kerasdanmerekah. Rekahan membuatkanbeberapa organ dalaman dapat dilihat.
Selain daripada mengalami rekahan pada badan, bayi tersebut juga terdedah kepada risiko jangkitan dan mengalami beberapa komplikasi lain seperti sesak nafas dan dehidrasi.
Penyakit seumpama ini merupakan penyakit genetik dan hanya berlaku sekali dalam setiap 300,000 kelahiran.
